I am falling in love with Andal as i get to learn every pasuram that she has written . This song brings us a visual treat with a strong screenplay. Brings the scene right in front of your eyes.

This song is sung to wake up a Gopika who sleeps like sleeping is an art by itself. She is also referred to as her uncle’s daughter.

Decorated with pure diamonds and with lamps being lit all around the palace
with incense sticks burning and its fragrance filling the room, you are sleeping like it is one form of passionate art form in your soft bed
My dear uncle’s daughter, Wake up and open the door.
My dear aunt, can you not wake your daughter up?
Is your daughter dumb? or is she deaf? or is she a lazy one?
Did anyone cast a spell on her to lay in this torpid state forever?
We have been singing the glory 0f our lord krishna, the master of Maya, our Madhava, our Vaikunthan and standing in front of your house.

Wake up your daughter dear aunt!
