Andal Thiruppavai:30.வங்கக் கடல்

வங்கக் கடல் கடைந்த மாதவனை கேசவனை
திங்கள் திருமுகத்து சேய் இழையார் சென்று இறைஞ்சி
அங்கப் பறை கொண்ட ஆற்றை அணி புதுவைப்
பைங்கமலத் தண் தெரியல் பட்டர் பிரான் கோதை-
சொன்ன சங்கத் தமிழ் மாலை முப்பதும் தப்பாமே
இங்கு இப்பரிசுரைப்பார் ஈரிரண்டு மால் வரை தோள்
செங்கண் திருமுகத்துச் செல்வத் திருமாலால்
எங்கும் திருவருள் பெற்று இன்புறுவர் எம்பாவாய்.

 

As part of  the penance undertaken,the ladies who have moon-like faces and also who  wear precious ornaments have obtained their wishes from Krishna, Who is our Madhav, the one who churned the ocean of milk;Whose beloved wife is goddess Mahalakshmi ;Who killed the demon Kesi and got the name Keshava.
The greatest of Gopikas, Andal(a) Kothai from sreevilliputhur who was the daughter of Periyazhwar and the one who wore the lotus garland before offering to Krishna has beautifully written this entire journey from the first day till the last in the form of 30 Pristine pasurams in the classical and sacred language,Tamil

May our krishna who has four mountain like shoulders(Udayavar), our beautiful red eyed lord, dearmost husband of Mahalakshmi bless those who recite these 30 pasurams with prosperity ,peace and a spiritual life

I Pray that the Andal in each one of us grows more and we learn to surrender to Krishna and burn the fear factor that clouds us thereby helping us shine brighter

தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும் என்று கூறுவார்கள் .உலகில் எல்லோருக்கும் நல்ல வழியை அமைத்து, தீய சக்திகளின் பிடியிலிருந்திய தப்பி மனதை தூய எண்ணங்களிலேயே வழி நடத்தி, செல்வமும் நலமும் அடைந்திட கண்ணபிரானை பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன்
